The purpose of our house rules is to provide our guests a relaxed and enjoyable rest time, as well as to avoid possible misunderstandings.

Reservation: Reservations are made online, by e-mail or by phone. The reservation takes effect after confirmation.
Check-in, check-out: The accommodation can be occupied at a pre-arranged time on the day of arrival, no later than 8:00 p.m. Upon arrival, please read the house rules. After the last booked night, please leave the guesthouse area by 10:00 a.m. or by the pre-arranged time. Upon arrival or online in advance, the guests or their representative must provide the personal data required to book the accommodation (passport or identity card number, time and place of birth, residential address, email address, phone number - which we handle and keep confidential in accordance with GDPR and pay the agreed amount on the spot.
Accommodation: Before using the accommodation, it goes without saying that guests familiarize themselves with the house rules and agree to the terms and conditions described herein. All complaints are taken into account if they are reported during the stay. We do not accept subsequent complaints. We ask our guests not to receive visitors or to let strangers into the accommodation.
Payment: If for some reason you leave the accommodation before the end of the pre-booked period, we are unable to refund the money.
Liability: Guests are financially responsible for damages resulting from improper use of the Guest House, violations of the house rules, and negligence. Our facility is not responsible for guest’s belongings! Our facility reserves the right not to accept Guests who behave irresponsibly, recklessly, aggressively or scandalously, or to immediately remove them from the chalet. We do not assume any responsibility for damages resulting from natural disasters, fires, or events other than our unit's fault, nor are we obligated to pay compensation. The head of the unit has the right to remove with immediate effect the Guest who does not respect rules or disturbs the other guests with his/hers behaviour.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the building! Smoking is only allowed in the yard. Please put the cigarette butts in the ceramic ashtrays reserved for this purpose!
Use of fireplace and electric heater: Please use the fireplace as intended. Please collect the ash generated in the designated metal bucket. The burning of other materials (e.g. plastic, rubber) is strictly prohibited except for the firewood and paper available to the guests! The use of oil, petroleum or gasoline is prohibited! It is forbidden to cover the electric heaters, we provide a clothes drying rack for drying.
Making a fire, making food in the cauldron : You can make a fire in the designated fire place by keeping the current fire protection rules! Please collect the ash generated on the stove in the designated metal bucket. (Placing fire extinguishers next to the fire, flammable materials removed from the fire.) Before leaving the fire place, please make sure that the fire has really been extinguished! The burning of other materials (e.g. plastic, rubber) is strictly prohibited except for the firewood and paper available to the guests! The use of oil, petroleum or gasoline is prohibited!
Closing the building: When leaving and for the night, please lock the entrance to the building! During the day, if you leave the area of the chalet, please close the windows and doors. This is necessary to avoid inflow of water during possible rains, and to prevent unauthorized persons from entering. If a window remains open after your departure, we reserve the right to close the window you forgot open in your absence.
Pets: The guest is responsible for any damage caused by pets. Please don’t leave pets unattended in the building.
Parking: Please use the designated parking spaces. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur in parked cars or valuables left in them!
Use of furnishings: Please use the furnishings as intended! Please do not take indoor furnishings and household items (beds, bedding, mattresses, TV, etc.) out in the garden.
Cleaning: Guests receive our guest house clean and take care of the cleanliness themselves during their stay. We ask our guests to keep the house and yard clean and sound, and to ensure that they are used as intended.The use of outside shoes inside the house is prohibited!
Trash disposal: Household garbage can be collected in the trash cans in the rooms and in the lobby. If these become full during your stay, please empty them into the designated selective places.
Garden: Please take care of the health of the plants. Damages caused by our guests will be settled on the spot. Outside music is not allowed!

Carries out promotional activities through the website www.varlak.ro in order to promote Várlak Chalets, providing detailed information on the offers and services of the guest house.The Guest will be notified of any changes to the booked accommodation. The reserved accommodation is provided to the Guest. It guarantees the authenticity of the services published on the website.
If, prior to the trip, the reserved accommodation has become unable to receive guests for any reason, or there have been changes to our services, we will inform the guests of these issues.The Guest is under no obligation to accept these changes. The Guest can choose another accommodation from the available ones, or can cancel the trip. In this case, the reservation will be canceled and the full amount of the deposit will be refunded.
No compensation can be requested if the guest house cannot provide the agreed conditions for reasons beyond its control (e.g. fire, natural disaster, etc.)
The Guest can take over the accommodation in a clean and usable condition. In the event of a breakdown or damage of the furniture or equipments, the accommodation provider will immediately take care of their repair.
Guests must present a credit card upon check-in as a security deposit to cover any damages and services requested in the meantime. The Guest must settle any damage caused to the accommodation on the spot.
The accommodation can be used from 15:00 on the day of arrival at the earliest, and must be vacated on the day of departure by 10:00.
The accommodation provider has the right to supplement its terms, but in this case, he is obliged to inform the Guest in advance!
- Bank Transfer! In this case, we expect 50% of the total accommodation fee to be paid to one of the following account numbers in the days following the confirmation of the reservation (1-2 days). The remaining accommodation fee (50%) and the price of other services must be paid at the accommodation unit.

When making a transfer, we use the average Euro - RON exchange rate published by the Romanian National Bank on the day of the transfer. We will do the same if the rest of the payment is paid in RON on the spot!
Important: In order for me to be able to identify which order the payment belongs to, please indicate the IDENTIFICATION NUMBER provided at the time of booking in the notification section when making a transfer.
It is not necessary to enter an additional comment in the announcement section! (e.g. deposit, reservation, guest house name, period, number of people, etc.)

Interrupting a vacation that has started:
The reserved period must be paid in full amount!
Travel cancellation insurance:
Since the amount of the paid reservation is non-refundable in the event of an unwanted cancellation, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance with an insurance company for your own safety. In this case, if you have to cancel the reservation, the insurance company will compensate you up to the amount paid.
